I gotta say the Vikings.
Being a niner's fan, last week's game was like "gdarnit not again!!!" because it was just like watching him with the packers, tossing the ball down san fran's throat.
But it is really hard to hate Favre, for me anyway. I guess as I've gotten older and have watched all my sports heros from high school slowly disappear from the different sports they play, I cling a little bit to the 'old relics' if you will, almost as though they are a way to reach back into the past.
Don't get me wrong, I do like watching the newer crowd too, but I don't know that I can ever appreciate them the same way as i did years ago when I was learning the game, when some of the players seemed larger than life to me at a young age.
As far as this game, I think it would be one hell of a lot more interesting if it were in Green Bay heh heh heh. Either way though it is going to be quite a show I'm sure.

I'm going to go ahead and piggyback on this thread, don't feel like starting a new one, I'm looking forward to tomorrow night, but wow, being a Niner's fan, holy crap, 3-1?? I would have never guessed it, and only a Favre miracle stopped them from being 4-0 right now.
Of course they haven't played much for competition yet but even so, it has been a long time since the Niners have been in this position, having defeated everyone else in their division. I thought their win over the Cardinals was just a fluke, and now they beat the Rams 35 to 0 without Gore, who is arguably their best offensive player.
Good times!!!
now ON TO TOMORROW NIGHT!

Well, that was an interesting game, Favre picked them apart, helped out of course by Peterson's timely runs.
But it was Minnesota's defense that impressed me even more. That being said, how stupid was Green Bay for not taking the points and going for it on 4th down? They got stuffed bad.
